RETAILER REGISTRATION QUALIFICATIONS

Retailers of finished jewelry whose primary business is the purchase and resale of finished jewelry operating from a commercial retail location and:

qualified and attended the 2009 SMART Jewelry Show
are listed in JBT as a retail jeweler
retail members of Jewelers of America (JA)
retail members of State Jewelers Associations
retail members of the American Gem Society (AGS)

will be admitted to the show. Wholesalers please see below.

IF YOU DO NOT MEET ANY OF THE ABOVE QUALIFICATIONS, YOU MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING:

RETAILERS
Copy of your store lease or photograph of the inside and outside of your store.
Copy of your sales tax certificate and
Copy of invoices from three suppliers for multiple purchases totaling $10,000 or more of finished jewelry made within the past 12 months.

WHOLESALERS
Must be listed in JBT as a wholesaler.
Copy of invoices from five different suppliers for multiple purchases totaling $20,000 or more of finished jewelry made with the past 12 months.

ADMISSION IS NOT GRANTED TO:

The General Public
Non-exhibiting manufacturers, suppliers and loose stone dealers
Individuals operating businesses from home
All individuals under the age of 14, including infants

ONSITE BUYER REGISTRATION

If you must register onsite, you must have proper personal identification and qualifying documentation as listed above. It is recommended that you pre-register for the show as it will not delay your admittance into the show. Lines at the ONSITE REGISTRATION Desk tend to be longer and it could take up to an hour or more to get through this line to obtain your badge.
