Exhibitor Drop-Off Points

To unload your personal vehicle, we have several options for you all of which carry different costs.  Click here to pull up a map of Navy Pier which will show you the different drop-off points we will be discussion below.

1) Hand Carry - if you can hand carry your materials into the show, we recommend you park in the East Parking lot or the second number 12 on the map located on the left-hand side of Navy Pier.   Park close to where you entered the parking lot as an elevator is located just inside the doors to the lobby in this area.  If someone is driving you and they can stay with the car, they can drop you off at Entrance 1.  The elevator is located inside the doors near this entrance.

There is no charge to hand carry your materials but you must be able to hand carry your materials alone.  In other words you cannot load up a table and have two people carry the table with all your materials on it to your booth.

2)  GES Cart Service - GES will assist you with a cart service where they will bring your materials up to your booth for you.  This service is only provided to those exhibitors with one or two cart loads of service.  The cost for this service is $50.00.

3)  If you have more than one or two cart loads of materials or very heavy materials, you need to bring your truck up the ramp that is located on the left-hand side of Navy Pier, positioned right before the second number 12 on the map.  GES will assist you with the unloading of your booth materials and deliver them right to your booth.  If you use this area to unload your booth materials there is a charge based on the weight of your materials.  There is a charge of $71.50 for every hundred pounds of freight unloaded with a minimum of 200 lbs.

4)  We highly recommend that you use an armored car service to ship your line to the show but if you absolutely must hand carry your line to the show, please use the ramp where you will be able to unload in a more secure area.  The contractor understands the value of your merchandise and will allow all exhibitors to handle their own lines.  However, it is extremely risky to hand carry your line and we again recommend an armored car company to ship your line for you.
