| Suzan Flamm Job Title: Assistant General Counsel Company Name: Jewelers Vigilance Committee Suzan Flamm, Assistant General Counsel for the Jewelers Vigilance Committee, represents the JVC before government agencies, conducts legal compliance seminars, and mediates disputes within the trade and between the trade and consumers. Prior to joining the JVC, Suzan spent several years with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office where she prosecuted cases involving public corruption, organized crime and white-collar crime. She also served as a Deputy Commissioner with the New York City agency that investigated corruption in the public schools. Later, she was appointed the attorney in charge of a regional office for the New York State Attorney General. More recently, Suzan provided consulting services to litigators on trial technology and visual courtroom presentations. She has also taught courtroom communication strategies, and investigative interviewing techniques at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Suzan received her BA and JD degrees from the University of California in Los Angeles. She is admitted to the bar in New York and California. |
